Frame & Wander Collection
A traveling destination editorial photoshoot experience for women who are ready to be photographed in a place that actually matches them.
Three series. Six destinations.
All destinations
I have been photographing women for over a decade. In that time the most common thing I have heard before a session is some version of: I am not sure I photograph well.
They always do. What I have learned is that the location matters more than most photographers will tell you. Put a woman somewhere extraordinary and the camera does not have to work as hard. She is already there. She is already herself.
That is the idea behind Frame & Wander. Six destinations. Three series. A photographer whose work shifts to meet the environment — because yours should too.
"I had the most divine and exquisite experience!"
"A precious, creative soul she is. I felt like we have always known each other from the second I pulled up. It was one of the most wonderful experiences of my life."
"Don't wait to invest in this once in a lifetime experience. You will be in awe of how Sharde captures your unique beauty and style."
Not at all. Most clients tell me before their session that they are not sure they photograph well. Every single one of them does. The session is guided and collaborative — you will never be left wondering what to do with your hands. The goal is to capture you in motion and in light, not to direct you into poses that feel unnatural.
The session fee covers your full two-hour shoot, complete editing of every usable image, and delivery of your full gallery via a private digital download link. No packages, no per-image fees, no surprises. The only optional addition is hair and makeup, offered as a separate add-on coordinated with a vetted local artist.
A typical two-hour session produces between 60 and 100 finished images. Every usable image is edited and delivered — you are not choosing from a limited selection.
Your gallery will be delivered within three to four weeks of your session via a private download link. If you have a specific deadline, please mention it when you inquire.
Yes. No more than two sessions run per day and they are scheduled at different times. You will not cross paths with another client during your shoot.
We coordinate a vetted local artist at your destination who will be briefed on the shoot location and wardrobe direction before your session day. Hair and makeup is scheduled prior to your shoot at a location convenient to you. You pay the artist directly at the rate listed on this page.
The standard structure is a 50% retainer to secure your spot, with the balance due 14 days before your session. The retainer is refundable only if the visit is cancelled on our end. If you would like to discuss an alternative arrangement, please mention it in your inquiry.
Your retainer is non-refundable once the visit is confirmed. Reschedules are accommodated with at least 21 days notice. Cancellations within 14 days of a confirmed visit forfeit the full session fee. We strongly recommend waiting until the six-week confirmation before booking flights and accommodation.
You will hear back within 48 hours. We will confirm availability, answer any questions, and send a booking link to submit your retainer. Once confirmed, your pre-shoot guide follows with everything you need to prepare.
You are welcome to bring a guest to keep you company before and after the shoot. During the session itself, guests are asked to stay out of the shooting area so the focus remains entirely on you.
Yes — travel and accommodation are arranged independently. Your pre-shoot guide includes accommodation recommendations and everything you need to plan your visit with confidence.
This visit runs your chosen destination visit. It is confirmed only when all available sessions are filled. The go or no-go decision is made by six weeks before the visit date, giving you a clear window to plan around. We strongly recommend waiting until then before booking flights or accommodation. Your retainer holds your spot with no travel commitment until confirmation arrives. If the visit is cancelled, your retainer is refunded in full within five business days and you are given priority access to the next scheduled visit.
Thank you for reaching out. You will hear back within 48 hours with availability, next steps, and everything you need to secure your spot.

Driftwood Beach — A Frame & Wander Experience
Ancient oaks stripped bare by decades of saltwater and tide, scattered across the sand. Warm golden hour light on a beach that looks like nowhere else on the East Coast.
The bleached oak skeletons rising from the sand at Driftwood Beach are among the most visually striking natural formations in the American South. The warm amber light of golden hour turns the already extraordinary into something that looks like it belongs in a magazine — because it does. This is where the session takes place.
The two-hour session moves through several natural zones along the beach — the driftwood formations, the shoreline, and the forest edge where the live oaks begin. Each environment produces a distinct set of images within the same gallery.
Flowing maxi dresses, linen separates, and soft neutral tones photograph beautifully against the bleached driftwood and warm sand. Two outfit changes are welcome. Footwear is optional — many clients prefer bare feet, which works perfectly in this environment.
Important: This visit runs October 13–17, 2026. It is confirmed only when all sessions are filled. No commercial photography permit is currently required for portrait work on Driftwood Beach. There is an $8 per vehicle causeway fee to enter Jekyll Island. Beyond that, the beach is publicly accessible and the shoot runs without restrictions.
The walk from the parking area to the shoot location on Driftwood Beach is short and on flat sand. The session itself moves between a few natural zones within the beach, all within easy walking distance of each other. If you have specific mobility considerations, please mention them when you inquire.
Ecola State Park — A Frame & Wander Experience
Sea stacks rising from the Pacific. Old growth Sitka spruce forest meeting the shoreline. Pacific Coast light at golden hour that makes every image look like it came from a film.
Cannon Beach offers something that no other destination in the collection does — guaranteed solitude. With only one session per day and five sessions total per visit, this is the most private experience in the collection. The session runs at Indian Beach inside Ecola State Park, where the Sitka spruce forest meets the Pacific and the sea stacks rise from the water in the distance.
The Pacific Northwest coast at golden hour produces a quality of light that is difficult to describe and impossible to replicate. Silver, amber, and misty — a palette that belongs entirely to this stretch of Oregon coastline and nowhere else.

The Pacific Northwest coast is famously moody, and that moodiness is part of what makes these images so cinematic. Sessions will proceed in light rain and typical coastal weather. In the rare case of a severe weather event, we will work together to reschedule within the visit window if availability allows.
Indian Beach inside Ecola State Park requires a short walk from the parking area along a forested trail to reach the beach. The trail is manageable but uneven in places, so sturdy footwear for the walk in is recommended. You can change into your session shoes once you arrive.
Yes. Ecola State Park requires a commercial photography permit for portrait work. This is arranged and covered as part of the session preparation — you do not need to handle this yourself.
October 6–10, 2026
There is a version of you that has always lived in New York. This session is for her.
What happens when you stop waiting to feel like you belong somewhere and simply show up as the woman you already are?
New York has always known the answer.
Sessions begin between 6:30 and 8:30 in the morning, when the light in New York is at its most cinematic and the city's most beautiful streets belong almost entirely to you. The shoot moves through two to three neighborhood vignettes within the two hours.
This is not a posed, stand-here-and-smile experience. It is a guided editorial session designed to capture you in motion, in light, and in a city that has been making extraordinary women look extraordinary for over a century.
New York rewards commitment — to color, to silhouette, to putting yourself together as though the city is watching. Because in this session, it is.
Spend that evening in the West Village with no agenda beyond dinner, a walk, and the particular electric feeling of being a woman alone in New York at night with nowhere she has to be.

Between 6:30 and 8:30 a.m. the light in the West Village and Soho is extraordinary and the streets are quiet enough to work in. By 9:00 a.m. both advantages are gone. The early start is non-negotiable and the images are significantly better for it.
No. Small portrait photography crews on public sidewalks in New York City do not require permits. West Village, Soho, and DUMBO are all fully public.
The West Village or Flatiron District puts you directly inside the aesthetic of the experience. Brooklyn — DUMBO, Cobble Hill, or Park Slope — is often more comfortable and affordable while keeping you close to all shooting locations.
The session opens in the French Quarter — specifically the quieter side streets and hidden courtyards away from Bourbon Street — in the early morning light, when the architecture glows and the streets belong to almost no one. The wrought iron balconies, the warm amber light, the scale of the buildings. There is nothing like it.
From there the session moves into the Garden District, where grand antebellum homes, oak-canopied sidewalks, and lush garden walls shift the entire mood. The contrast between the two environments gives the gallery a range that most single-location sessions cannot produce.
Flowing midi dresses, tailored jumpsuits, silk slip dresses, and statement jewelry all photograph beautifully here. Deep jewel tones — emerald, sapphire, and plum — work particularly well against the warm tones of the French Quarter.

French Quarter streets and Garden District sidewalks are fully public and require no photography permits for portrait work with a small crew. The session runs freely without restrictions.
October through April offers the most comfortable shooting conditions — lower humidity, milder temperatures, and the soft golden light that makes the French Quarter architecture glow. Our November visit sits squarely in this ideal window.
Two destinations. Dramatic landscapes. Extraordinary light.
For the woman who did not wait until she felt ready. The landscape does the heavy lifting. She just has to show up.
Red Rock Country — A She Showed Up Experience
The red rock formations at golden hour produce light that a studio cannot replicate. She came to reclaim something. The images will be proof that she did.
Sessions are scheduled at golden hour — when the red rock formations ignite amber and copper and the light does something that no studio can replicate. Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, and Red Rock Crossing along Oak Creek are among the most visually stunning locations in the Sedona area.
Within the two hours the session moves between an open landscape composition with the formations as a dramatic backdrop and a more intimate setting closer to the rock faces and creek beds.
Sedona's red rock palette is specific and warm. Clothing that complements it will feel native to the landscape. Cool tones — navy, gray, black — tend to disconnect from the warmth of the environment.

Most portrait photography on Bureau of Land Management land in the Sedona area does not require a commercial permit for small crews. Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, and Red Rock Crossing fall within this category. Permit requirements are confirmed with the BLM field office in advance of each visit.
Red Rock Crossing involves a short walk on uneven ground, and Cathedral Rock and Bell Rock are accessible from roadside parking areas. Terrain can be rocky and sandy, so sturdy sandals or low-heeled boots are recommended for moving between locations. If you have specific mobility considerations, please mention them when you inquire.
Sedona enjoys over 300 days of sunshine per year, making weather cancellations rare. In the unlikely event of extreme weather, we will work together to reschedule within the visit window if availability allows.
Road to Hana — A She Showed Up Experience
Lush rainforest waterfalls and volcanic black sand beach within the same two hours. Two environments. One full gallery. The trip she has been putting off for long enough.
The Maui session is built around two visual environments within the same shoot. The first portion takes place near a waterfall location along the Road to Hana corridor — Twin Falls is accessible and does not require advance reservations. The second portion moves to a coastal location, either the volcanic black sand beach at Waiʻanapanapa State Park or lava rock coastline.
Lush and intimate near the waterfall. Expansive and dramatic at the coast. The gallery covers both and has a range that mainland destinations cannot produce.
Deep emerald, warm coral, golden yellow, and soft white all photograph beautifully against Maui's green and blue palette. Flowing dresses with movement photograph especially well near waterfalls and in the ocean breeze.

Waiʻanapanapa State Park requires advance reservations for entry. This is handled as part of your session preparation and confirmed well before your visit. Twin Falls does not require advance reservations. Your pre-shoot guide covers all logistics in detail.
The waterfall portion involves a short walk from the parking area — mostly flat and paved at Twin Falls. The coastal portion at Waiʻanapanapa is accessed from a short trail to the beach. Neither location requires significant hiking. If you have mobility considerations, please mention them when you inquire.
May is one of the best months on Maui — the major summer crowds have not yet arrived, conditions are warm and dry, the Road to Hana is accessible and uncrowded, and the waterfalls are running well. Our May 2027 visit is timed specifically for this window.
